Many of my most precious photographs are of my children. And I want to show these images to the world because I feel they’re worth sharing.

But I don’t want throw their innocent young faces into the world, just like that. I’m the last generation that grew up without the internet and no record exists online of me as a child. And I like that feeling. 

With the explosion of the internet, social media, face recognition and data harvesting everyone has a digital identity, including most children. I've always wanted my children to be able to choose for themselves what they do and do not want to share, when they’re ready. 

To still be able to share my work I started printing these images, and collecting flowers in the neighbourhood where I live. I then squashed and dried them between books and a few months later I scanned those. The idea being that I can shared the image, but keep them anonymous.

The result is this project that I call anon. A series of images documenting my childrens early youth, their identity covered by nature.
